The Misguided Christians

Author: Cornelius Babasanya-Craig

The Spirit taught me about the Bible in my sleep. At first, it was difficult for me to accept the new ideas regarding the events recorded in the Bible. The reason for this was the obvious disagreements with popular beliefs. Naturally, I discussed with my relations and friends. My shock was beyond words when my friend, a university librarian, tried to assuage my feelings by saying that I should be in order because Christians are divided in their concept of GOD. I dismissed the suggestion off hand, saying it could not be true. I went to the library myself, and read some papers and books. I came to the knowledge that the prevalent theory in the Schools of Divinity and Bible Seminaries was: There is no GOD. The mere fact that various theories exist in these so-called Christian institutions, is firm confirmation that the Christian religious leaders, at best, harbor doubts about the existence of GOD.

It is a misconception of the highest order that the faithful Christians, properly referred to as Laity, regard their religious leaders as men of GOD. These men of GOD operate on the principle that anyone who is stupid enough to believe that GOD exists, deserves the deceit that awaits him in the church. They are trained to tell the unsuspecting Christians what they want to hear. Their reward is they make comfortable living out of the deceits and lies. What else can be described as racketeering! No punishment can be enough for the crime so committed. It is utterly disgraceful that no pastor ever publicly disputes the existence of GOD.

As can be expected, the teachings in the church do not agree with what Jesus taught. What does it matter? For example, Jesus Christ says that, in truth, you are born again when you are born of water and of Spirit. The men of GOD reject that. They say that all you have to do is to accept Jesus Christ into your life, and there you are, born again. Certainly it is obvious that if you have not been again the Jesus Christs way, you shall not enter into the kingdom of GOD.

During His Last Supper here on earth, Jesus Christ established the New Covenant. A covenant is a pact between the LORD GOD and man. The LORD GOD promises certain favors in return for our carrying out certain obligations. The Christian religious practice completely ignores the New Covenant. In effect, they shun the promise of GOD in respect of the salvation of their souls. It is sad that the countless number of Christians who spend endless hours at prayer meetings, Bible studies, retreats of all sorts, and are too willing to surrender all that they have to the church, are kept in the dark about the New Covenant.

For those of us who still believe, here is what the Bible reports Jesus Christ as saying: I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say. John 12:49-50. The church today takes it upon itself to seek for Christians, all kinds of succor for life in the domain of Satan in which we live now. Respecting this, Paul says: If only for this life we (Christians) have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. I Corinthians 15:19.

Poor Christians! Jesus Christ gave the warning though, very early in His Ministry: Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. Matthew 7:15. Where else do you expect to find the false prophets except in the church? Lest we forget, occult practice is a common thing among the men of GOD. From the look of things, Christians are on the fast track to the fools paradise.
